About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our team. The Forklift Operator will be responsible for operating a forklift to move materials and products throughout the warehouse safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing setting and possess a strong commitment to safety and accuracy. Requirements

Ability to lift 50 pounds throughout the entire shift.
Proven experience operating forklifts in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to lift larger loads such as plywood or long boards
Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail.
Ability to follow instructions and work effectively in a team.
Basic math skills.
Physical stamina to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and operate a forklift for extended periods.
Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

Operate a forklift to transport materials and products to and from storage areas, production lines, or trucks.
Load and unload materials and products from trucks and storage areas using a forklift or other material handling equipment.
Inspect forklifts and other equipment before use to ensure they are in proper working condition.
Follow safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
Maintain accurate records of materials and products moved, including quantity and location.
Assist with inventory management by performing cycle counts and participating in physical inventory audits.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
