About The Position

Operates forklift to transport bulk product totes under normal supervision.

Requirements

• Requires Moderate mental and Little manual skill.
• Requires some initiative and independence.
• Requires reasonable care to avoid minor damage to equipment and considerable care to avoid major injury of self and others.
• Requires forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Transport bulk product totes to and from the tote off area, addback lines, and quality control.
• Weighs bulk totes of product and waste.
• Promote and adhere to company safety regulations.
• Enters tote information into SAP.
• Moves totes to correct location in Americold Cage area.
• Distributes and organizes recalled pallets by item code or cuts.
• Assists in the normal dumping of totes.
• Takes inventory of tote areas.
• Cleans and inserts new tote liners.
• Maintains, charges, and records installation batteries. Completes forklift checklist.
• Understands the concepts and participates in the techniques of the quality process.
• Promotes job safety.
• Keeps work area neat, clean, and orderly.
• Participates in factory clean-ups.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervision.
