About The Position
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to support material handling operations by preparing beams for shipment. This role primarily involves operating a sit-down forklift and working outdoors in a production environment with frequent overtime. The Forklift Operator will move and stack beams, assist with positioning materials for shipment, and follow all safety and company procedures.
Requirements
- Proven sit-down forklift experience required
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform bending, squatting, kneeling, and prolonged standing
- Strong attention to safety procedures
- Previous material handling or warehouse experience preferred
- Overhead or bridge crane experience a plus
- Bilingual a plus

Responsibilities
- Safely operate a sit-down forklift to move and stack beams
- Assist with positioning beams for loading (not loading onto trailers)
- Use overhead or bridge crane when applicable (experience preferred)
