We are currently seeking qualified candidates to fill the role of a Forklift Operator.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
1 or more years of materials handling and forklift operations, preferred
Able to use motorized moving equipment including; order picker, swing reach, scissor lifts, etc.
Basic familiarity with computer use required
Working knowledge of warehouse management systems preferred
Familiarity with continuous improvement methods preferred
Proficient English abilities required
Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment with general supervision
Ability to follow documented procedures, standards and policies
Excellent time-management skills
Warehouse environment (may not be climate-controlled)
Frequent standing, walking, twisting, stooping and crouching
Lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
Push/pull up to 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

1 or more years of materials handling and forklift operations, preferred
Working knowledge of warehouse management systems preferred
Familiarity with continuous improvement methods preferred

Responsibilities

Uses motorized lift equipment to receive, move, pick and load materials
Completes safety inspection logs and general maintenance of lift equipment
Safely and accurately moves materials throughout warehouse
Issues or distributes materials, products, parts and supplies to cross-functional departments based on information from work orders
Gathers parts in preparation for shipment; packaging, labeling and staging
Receives, verifies and prepares incoming or outgoing materials
Performs data entry electronically; daily reporting of material movement and transfers, etc.
Performs warehouse duties such as cleaning, sweeping and organizing material to maintain a safe working environment
Assists material handlers and other personnel in the movement of materials
Responsible for meeting ISO 9001 and/or other quality system requirements in their department
May perform other duties as assigned
