About The Position

Forklift Operators are responsible for unloading trucks in receiving, moving materials from one plant to another, and dumping trash through the plant. They must adhere to Polaris Boats policies in regards to material handling within the plants.

Requirements

• At least one year of forklift/material handler experience
• Able to sit, stand, walk, and use hands regularly
• Work inside in congested areas and outside in seasonal weather
• Stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling and bending frequently
• Must be able to lift and handle up to 50 pounds of material

• Ability to be cross trained

Responsibilities

• Know how to operate a forklift and trash compactor
• Know how to handle hazardous materials
• Able to load and unload trucks
• Deliver and pick up parts at other plants
• Perform light kitting of parts, some cycle counting, and emptying trash containers
