Position Summary Resting at 7,000 feet and surrounded by the San Francisco Peaks, the scenic city of Flagstaff remains an important distribution site for large manufacturers like Nestlé Purina. But, we leave it up to you to shape our future and your career aspirations.As a Forklift Operator, you will perform a variety of tasks within our warehouse including loading trucks, unloading trucks, case picking product, and staging finished product being released from our packing area.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • 6+ months experience operating a forklift or heavy machinery in a manufacturing, distribution, logistics, military, or related environment.
  • MUST BE OPEN TO ALL SHIFTS.

Responsibilities

  • Stacking unit loads by UPC throughout the warehouse.
  • Understand and operate all computer-based warehouse transactions correctly.
  • Troubleshoot load integrity and handling issues. Repair damaged unit loads and follow the warehouse sanitation policy.
  • Load or unloading trailers and railcars while being aware of weight, size, UPC, location, and trailer type.
  • Replenish storage locations with unit loads from floor storage and pre-plan case pick to optimize product location, weight, and quantity.
  • Case pick product according to customer specifications, layering guidelines, product location, and product quantity.
  • Hand wrap, label, and pre-stage orders.
  • Operate warehouse sweeper and warehouse scrubber.
  • All other duties as assigned.
