The company is hiring a Forklift Operator to join its well-established and growing team in Hanover, PA, for a first shift position at their Hanover Plant 2 facility. This shipping and receiving role is responsible for multiple warehouse duties in a fast-paced environment, including verifications, record keeping, and preparing items for shipment while adhering to quality and productivity standards.

Requirements

• Ability to lift 50 lbs., bend and twist throughout the work day
• Knowledge of UPS/FedEx shipping procedures
• High School education/GED
• 1-2 years of forklift experience

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift safely and efficiently
• Operate stretch wrap banders and other necessary packaging equipment
• Identify errors and packaging defects and correct accordingly
• Communicate essential information needed to ensure proper and timely deliveries
• Comply with safety regulations/procedures and maintain clean and orderly work area
• Operate a baler/shredder for recycling product
• Perform verifications and record keeping
• Prepare items for shipment by performing duties to quality and productivity standards
• Accept and receive supervision and assistance with regards to maintenance functions and other essential tasks as assigned
