Collectively, our business segments provide sustainable, unmatched metal coating solutions that enhance the longevity and appearance of buildings, products and infrastructure that are essential to everyday life. AZZ has an exciting 1st shift opportunity for a Forklift Operator at our Winsted Minnesota facility. Reporting to the Operations Manager you will be responsible for, but not limited to, the receipt and/or shipment of materials, supplies, and products. You will be working primarily in the yard in an enclosed forklift/spotter truck. Must be able to work outside in multiple weather conditions. 

Requirements

• 1 - 2 years related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of raw materials, production process, quality control and costs, knowledge of hand tools and equipment is preferred.
• Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Certified forklift operator is preferred
• Minimum EducationHigh School diploma or equivalent is helpful.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift experience preferred though not necessary

Responsibilities

• Receive goods, verify order, inspect condition of goods
• Move product to and from storage, production areas, and loading dock via forklift
• Scale incoming & outgoing loads on truck scale
• Upload photos and documents into our system
• Coordinate outgoing shipments with shipping and receiving personal
• Verify identifying information - counts, weights, measurements, etc. against BOLs, invoices, orders and/or other records
• Performs daily inspection of equipment
• Follows all necessary processes and procedures in AZZ's truck driver policy
• Position will cross train to various other roles within production
