About The Position
National Star Services is a well-established facility management company with 27 years of experience, providing a wide range of services nationwide. We are currently seeking a Temp-to-Hire Forklift Operator to join our team at our Alsip, IL 60803 location.
Requirements
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Two valid forms of ID
- Must be authorized to work lawfully in the U.S.
- Minimum 2 years of forklift operator experience
- Previous Shipping and receiving experience
- Computer savvy with the ability to learn new systems
- Reliable transportation to ensure punctuality
- Background check and drug test will be conducted
- Availability to start working as soon as possible
Responsibilities
- Load and unload palletized materials in limited or confined spaces
- Handle shipping and receiving operations efficiently
- Process orders using the company’s computer system (training provided)
- Create and apply labels accurately
- Operate forklift equipment safely while following all company procedures
- Work collaboratively with team members to support daily operations
