About The Position

The Forklift Operator is required to drive a stand-up forklift, responsible for picking, packing, shipping and receiving of inventory. The Forklift employee must use all safety precautions while operating equipment and tools. The ability to take direction and demonstrate initiative to complete tasks in an accurate and timely manner is a must.

Requirements

• Standup forklift experience (minimum of 3 years)
• Picking
• Packing
• Shipping
• Receiving
• High school diploma, minimum required education
• Must have good communication and interpersonal skills in order to communicate effectively within the organization
• Must be willing and able to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision but must also readily ask for direction and help when needed
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must pass drug screen and background check
• Must have valid driver license

Responsibilities

• Follow and adhere to documented shipping instructions for all inventory
• Work with team to maintain warehouse schedule to accommodate for moving open orders through production and building pre-tested stock units
• Facilitate inventory control through cycle counts and proper inventory identification
• Follows safety standards at all times
• Accepts other duties as assigned
