About The Position

Transfer product located in warehouse to appropriate outbound trailers while maintaining accuracy of inventory.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Must have good reading, writing and math skills.
• Individual must be forklift certified by Ventura Foods and able to physically perform tasks required of position.

Responsibilities

• Operate either a sitdown and/or standup forklift in an efficient manner.
• Load trailers utilizing pick tickets ensuring loads are balanced and accurately loaded.
• Haul and put away production as needed.
• Using RF scanners to maintain an accurate inventory
• Ensure FIFO is followed.
• Follow locator system policies.
• Responsible for following all Food Safety policies, procedures and regulatory criterion including the current SQF code, Good Manufacturing Practices, and the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) and associated Preventive Controls and safety programs.

• Positions on 2nd and 3rd shifts are eligible for a $0.25/hr shift differential.
