About The Position

New England Sheets currently has an exciting opportunity available for 2nd shift Shipping Loaders/Forklift Operators at our Devens, MA facility! Starting rate is $22.00 per hour plus a shift differential of $1.25 per hour!! As a Shipping Loader/Forklift Operator, you will utilize a powered forklift to handle corrugated material, load and unload goods & scrap, inspect and report forklift defects, and store/load units correctly for future delivery to customers. Requirements

• 2 – 3 years of Forklift experience
• Ability to read, understand instructions, and communicate effectively
• Basic math skills and must be able to read a tape measure
• Successful track record in safety, attendance, and quality
• Ability to function as a mature professional individual, who interacts positively with teammates
• The willingness to function effectively in a team environment and tackle any task required for the success of the team
• Enthusiasm for being an active part of a safety-first work environment
• Be available to work overtime if requested

Responsibilities

• Utilize a powered forklift to handle corrugated material
• Load and unload goods & scrap
• Inspect and report forklift defects
• Store/load units correctly for future delivery to customers
