In the warehouse or on the production floor the forklift operator is responsible for moving products or materials with power tools and vehicles.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School diploma or equivalent degree/certificate
- Forklift certified or a willingness to be trained and become certified within 1 month
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as directed by the business
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
Responsibilities
- Operate industrial forklift and vehicles to relocate product within a warehouse or production facility
- Transport raw materials and finished goods to designated areas after the product is produced
- Load and unloading trailers, trucks, or pallets for delivery
- Ensure that products are stacked and stored in compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures
- Replenish material to the warehouse pick locations/bins from storage areas within the warehouse in a safe, accurate and efficient manner
- Uses VMU computer and RF scanning device
- Correctly rotate product/materials
- Accurately completes pre-operation forklift inspection.
- Perform required cleaning and sanitation duties to meet GMP Standards
