We are looking for an Order Picker/Forklift driver, preferably with stand-up and sit-down experience in a distribution center environment. This role is responsible for unloading and uploading trucks as we receive products that need to be staged to fulfill customer orders.

Requirements

  • Familiar with FIFO concept
  • Ability to drive sit down and standup forklifts
  • Able to lead and work with others
  • Must have Shipping/receiving experience
  • WMS knowledge preferred
  • Quick Learner and able to understand warehouse logistics
  • Computers, emails, MS Word and Excel
  • Inventory and cycle count knowledge
  • Physical strength, stamina and the ability to walk or stand for long periods of time
  • Able to lift 40lbs
  • High School Diploma
  • 2-4 years of related work experience

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to speak Spanish helpful but not required

Responsibilities

  • Do shipping and receiving operations in a consistent manner
  • Accurately and efficiently select merchandise from storage locations to fulfill customer orders
  • Verify product details, quantities, and quality before packing to ensure customer orders
  • Understand the warehouse layout and learn to identify the location of categorized products
  • Loading, unloading, of containers & trucks in high volume warehouse
  • Managing inventory. Cycle counts
  • Accurately picking product to be shipped
  • Optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Check weight capacity
  • Physically verify loads are accurate and correct items and correct counts before shipping
  • Maintain the warehouse clean and safe working conditions
  • Completes various administrative tasks as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
