About The Position

Supports all Warehouse functions and maintains a clean and safe environment.

Requirements

• Must have proficiency with computers and RF scanning.
• One to three years experience in Shipping and Receiving in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to effectively function in a broad-based, fast-paced work environment with minimal supervision.
• Experienced in driving material handling equipment.
• The ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English is a requirement.

Responsibilities

• Must obtain in-house Plant Industrial Truck Operator Certification
• Performs daily check of forklift before operating
• Load and unload freight on trailers using a motorized forklift
• Must be able to pick orders and provide them to production by using a RF scanner.
• Perform pulls, put-away and stage pallets for shipping
• Read and interpret shipping labels. Familiarity with, and in some cases ability to complete the various forms utilized in freight movement such as shipping orders, overage/damage movement reports and exception forms.
• Hand load, rewrap or stack freight as necessary
• Maintain clean orderly equipment and work areas
• Perform other duties as assigned
