Position Summary The Forklift Operator is responsible for providing internal movement of product (work in process or finish goods) throughout the manufacturing plant.

Requirements

  • Graduation from high school or receipt of equivalent degree (GED).
  • Ability to operate a tow motor, with required training and license.
  • Ability to operate a forklift scale.
  • Strong safety awareness
  • To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S. or protected individual as defined by ITAR (22 CFR §120.15).

Responsibilities

  • Safely load and unload trucks with raw materials and fineblanked parts.
  • Maintain and update appropriate records for movement of raw materials and finished parts from one operation to another.
  • Supply presses with materials and remove parts from workstations to next operation.
  • Empty scrap containers and deliver to outside scrap hoppers.
  • Keep aisles clear and clean at all times.
  • Enter warehouse inventory data correctly into the ERP system.
  • Monitor warehouse inventory.
  • Operate a tow motor (forklift).
  • Accurately input data into the ERP system.
  • Keep warehouse clean and orderly.
  • Assist in monthly warehouse inventory.
