Position Summary The Forklift Operator is responsible for providing internal movement of product (work in process or finish goods) throughout the manufacturing plant.

Requirements

Graduation from high school or receipt of equivalent degree (GED).
Ability to operate a tow motor, with required training and license.
Ability to operate a forklift scale.
Strong safety awareness
To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S. or protected individual as defined by ITAR (22 CFR §120.15).

Responsibilities

Safely load and unload trucks with raw materials and fineblanked parts.
Maintain and update appropriate records for movement of raw materials and finished parts from one operation to another.
Supply presses with materials and remove parts from workstations to next operation.
Empty scrap containers and deliver to outside scrap hoppers.
Keep aisles clear and clean at all times.
Enter warehouse inventory data correctly into the ERP system.
Monitor warehouse inventory.
Operate a tow motor (forklift).
Accurately input data into the ERP system.
Keep warehouse clean and orderly.
Assist in monthly warehouse inventory.
