About The Position

Ipex Management Inc., is a leading manufacturer in thermoplastic PVC plastic pipe systems. We design the largest, most recognized and diverse range of integrated piping products-Everything professionals need to handle the full spectrum of today's municipal, industrial, commercial and residential challenges! We are currently in search of a reliable and motivated Forklift Operator to join our growing team in our Distribution Center located in Jacksonville! Your responsibility is to accurately and quickly service a very fast paced client base while maintaining the highest quality and safety in the industry. We are looking for a successful candidate that will possess knowledge and skill in FIFO principals, as well as RF scanning equipment and be prepared to meet any challenge. This position will pay $22.90/hour and work 9:00am- 5:30pm Monday through Friday.

Requirements

  • High school degree or equivalent.
  • Proven work experience safely operating forklifts, cherry picker and high reach equipment.
  • Meet daily timelines and work in an environment, where assignments and work priorities are reviewed several times a day.
  • Ability to use RF technology.
  • Comfortable using a harness and line yard, as well as comfortable with heights
  • Solid work history/tenure vs. job hopping is required.
  • Good interpersonal skills; work well as a team but be self-motivated and independent at times.
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly; ability to stand on your feet for the duration of the shift.
  • Able to read and write in English.
  • Steel toed shoes/boots are required.
  • Successful completion of a drug screen, physical, and criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience working in a warehouse preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Operate forklift equipment, cherry pickers, high reach equipment safely and effectively; maintain equipment and report malfunctions.
  • Perform warehouse duties including receiving and locating product within the RF scanner technology.
  • Accurately pick, stack, wrap and stage outbound freight ensuring that warehouse goals are met.
  • Implement work in the prescribed sequence so deliver-by-date is met.
  • Work proficiently to meet Productivity, Quality and Safety targets.
  • Load/unload trucks.
  • Maintain a strict housekeeping standards in accordance with 5S protocols.
  • Report unsafe work conditions/environment in a timely basis.
  • Cycle Counts & Stock Replenishment.
