About The Position

Izzio Artisan Bakery is seeking a Warehouse Worker for the facility located in Louisville and Thornton CO. The Warehouse worker is responsible for receiving orders, maintaining inventory, unloading, and loading of trucks. Each type of loading requires strict attention to order accuracy with respect to loading outgoing trucks and unloading incoming trucks.
Requirements
- Experience in warehouse and inventory related field is preferred
- High School education required
- Must be forklift certified or have forklift experience.
- Maintain proper housekeeping standards in work area.
- Regular, reliable, predictable attendance
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs frequently.
- Must be able to push/pull up to 85lbs with assisted lifting.
- Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and kneel.
- Must be flexible to reassignment within the North Denver area
- Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time.
- There is exposure to extreme temperatures (cold and hot).
- There is exposure to dust and food allergens.
- Lifting 50 pounds frequently. All Lifts over 50 Pounds require assisted lifting
- Maintain regular, consistent attendance & punctuality. Must have a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- All machines are equipped with Protective guards. All safety protocols must be followed
Responsibilities
- Works from electronic order system or order sheets to build loads using a forklift and/or electronic pallet jack.
- Follows warehouse instructions in building loads.
- Position is responsible for accuracy in loading and complying with shipper/receiver documentation.
- Turn in paperwork with order for check before loading and have truck checked.
- Transport truck loading involves moving full pallets of products from the warehouse onto a trailer and removing any returned pallets/plastic flats.
- Responsible for unloading pallets and placing them in designated warehouse space.
- Stage pallet and/or load into truck when ready
- Wrap pallet when pallet/load is finished
- Complete partial pallets and put away mixed pallets.
- Drive power pallet jack or forklift to picking area and build pallet/load according to load sheet.
- Employees must maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Position may be required to work across a wide variety of weather conditions and hours, shift duration depends on workload and may vary daily.
