3rd Shift - Forklift Operator
About The Position
Forklift Operator is responsible for the following duties, as outlined by his/her supervisor Complete the forklift checklist and communicate with maintenance on any issue Obtain tallies from Coordinator to be loaded Check trailer appearance for cleanliness, damage, safety Check unit appearance - proper dunnage, bands, load tags, special instructions Scan unit from discharge line Locate and scan to proper area – trailer or location Load trailer – scan unit, scan door Check computer for last unit Communicate shortage, overrun partials, damage to Coordinator Completion of trailer – Check cube, put on load bar, notify Coordinator Operator must wear all required personal protective equipment Operator must keep work areas clean and free of debris, including keeping floor clean of sheets Operator must be able to safely lift/move up to 75lbs during regular work shift Operator must follow lock-out/ tag-out procedures
Requirements
- Counting and stacking finished product
- Reading orders
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Ability to read a measuring tape and ruler
