Forklift Operator
About The Position
Kohler Distributing Company is the #1 Beer and other Alcoholic beverage wholesale distributor in Northern NJ. We are 280+ team members strong, working in a 250,000 square foot office and warehousing facility. We stride ourselves in providing the best support and service to our nearly 3000 retail customers. We are currently looking for full-time Forklift Operators to join our team and help fulfill our commitments to our customers. This position is unionized with Teamsters Local 11. Job Description: Using a scanner to perform tasks. Replenishing and cleaning pick areas. Replenishing our bulk storage areas. Moving and putting away pallets of product. Using the sweeper and scrubber machines to clean the warehouse floor. Moving pallets of product to various locations throughout warehouse. Loading/unloading our delivery trucks. Making space in warehouse for incoming deliveries. Picking and sorting kegs. Occasionally assisting with order picking. Job Requirements: Must have at least 1 year of warehousing experience. Day time shift schedule: Monday to Friday, start-time varies between 5am, 6am, and 10am. Must be able to sit, stand, walk, push, pull, reach, and lift up to 100lbs throughout duration of shift. Must pass a forklift driving test at interview. This position does require daily overtime. NOTE: Employment is contingent on passing a drug test, B.A.T and background check.
Requirements
