About The Position

As a Forklift Operator, you’ll play an essential part in keeping our warehouse running smoothly. Working under the guidance of our Warehouse Manager, you’ll operate pallet-handling forklifts, support shipping and receiving, and help maintain an organized, safe, and efficient workspace. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will help ensure our products move through the warehouse accurately and safely.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic English and math skills.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly.
  • Willingness to complete forklift training and obtain a forklift license.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Clear communication skills and legible handwriting.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Commitment to safety, GMPs, and food safety policies.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis. The company will not sponsor employment visas now or in the future
  • Applicants must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English at a level necessary to perform the essential duties of the position.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous forklift experience is helpful, but not required—we’re happy to train the right person.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a forklift to load and unload semi-trucks.
  • Inspect incoming and outgoing materials and report any quality concerns.
  • Move, stack, and organize materials throughout the warehouse.
  • Sort and replace damaged products, and complete all required documentation accurately.
  • Manage empty pallets and shells, including sorting and transporting.
  • Remove finished products from palletizers and move them to storage locations.
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
  • Operate stretch wrap machines and floor scrubbers as needed.
  • Assist with hand-stacking, sorting, and recycling tasks when required.
  • Step in to support other warehouse roles when needed.
  • Label and tag full goods pallets and record their placement in the warehouse.
  • Transport empty can pallets and empty pallets to designated equipment.
  • Follow all Food Safety and GMP policies.
