About The Position

The Forklift Operator operates a manually controlled gasoline, electric, or liquid propane powered forklift to transport goods and materials of all kinds within a warehouse, manufacturing plant, or other establishment.

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License
• Forklift certification
• The ability to work overtime as required.
• High School/GED.
• Requires one year experience.

Responsibilities

• Forklift operator is responsible for keeping the forklift in good working condition by performing daily PMCS (Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services).
• Ensures inspections are conducted and discrepancies are corrected when possible or turned in to maintenance for repair.
• Loading and Off-loading Tricons, Quadcons, ISUs, pallets and other equipment onto tractor trailers.
• Attends training as required.
• Perform other Container Management duties as assigned.
