Position Summary: Kanak Naturals is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to support warehouse and production operations. This role is responsible for the safe movement, storage, and staging of materials and finished goods. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
Requirements
- Prior forklift operating experience preferred; certification a plus (or willingness to become certified)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing environment
- Basic inventory and material handling knowledge preferred
- Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds
- Strong attention to safety and detail
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently
- Load, unload, move, stack, and stage products and materials
- Supply materials to production lines and remove finished goods
- Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate inventory movements
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Keep warehouse areas clean and organized
- Assist with shipping, receiving, and general warehouse duties as needed
