About The Position

This position is responsible for ensuring all products and materials are loaded, unloaded, and processed through the warehouse in a timely and accurate manner using a motor-powered forklift. Team members will be fully re-trained and certified on forklift during orientation.

Requirements

  • 3 Months forklift Operator experience. (Can be a combination of Employers as long as the experience is at least 3 months)
  • Need full range of motion of arms, wrists, elbows, shoulders, neck, all digits, and legs
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time with a sense of balance
  • May work with corrective lenses if vision problems
  • Must pass post offer health assessment and drug screening
  • Proficiency in reading and writing
  • Ability to complete on-the-job paperwork and effectively communicate across all management levels
  • The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

  • Move around the work area at a fast pace
  • Bend, squat, lift, push, pull, up to (40) pounds
  • Follow all Tyson Policies and Safety Guidelines
  • Use a handheld scanner to track products as it is moved around the facility
  • Receiver – Receives product accurately into the building using PIT
  • Put Away – Pulls product that has been received and puts it into the racking. May be required to palletize or split pallets
  • Replenisher – Pulls pallets from racking to replenish pick faces
  • Picker – (Case picker/Order Selector and full pallet picker) pulls product either in single or full palletized form to fill and build customer orders
  • Loader – Loads trucks with product in an efficient manner that will avoid product damage or loss
