Receives and unloads incoming materials, verifying quantity received and performing incoming inspection functions. Operates and services sit-down power forklift trucks. Load miscellaneous materials to trucks, such as scrap, empty drums, materials for other plants. Supplies production lines with necessary materials when required and moves finished product, raw materials, parts, and packing materials to various plant locations. Keeps warehouse and yard storage orderly to use available space to the best advantage. Performs daily production cycle counts as directed by supervision. Our St. Joseph, Missouri Dry Assembly Plant (DAP) opened in 1973 and now employs more than 860 people. The facility manufactures automotive and marine batteries and has been recognized by several global automotive manufacturers for supplier excellence.
