About The Position

Ecolab, the leading global developer of premium cleaning, sanitizing and maintenance products and services for the hospitality, institutional and industrial markets is seeking a Fork Truck Operator! This role is responsible for the accurate and timely picking, packing, preparation and shipping of all customer orders. Additionally, the role is responsible for accurate material handling and cycle count functions. What You Will Do: Uses various pieces of equipment including stand-up forklift (manual pallet jack, electric pallet jack, reach truck and propane lift) to move pallets Examines all packaging and contents of items for quality Verifies all packaging information against the packing list Coordinates with other departments such as customer service, production, instant and small pack Manages shipping box assembly, induction for packaging and label preparation/application Loads trailers with packed boxes and pallets Identifies items with a quantity discrepancy and promptly communicates with Supervisor and/or Lead Maintains the 5S cleanliness of the picking area and pulls completed shrink-wrapped orders to the dock for packers Follows all safety procedures and policies Follows all warehouse procedures and policies Other duties as assigned Position Details: Plant location: Garland, TX Work week and shift: C shift, 9:30PM - 5:30AM Monday to Friday Compensation: $23.40 per hour Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma or GED 1 year of experience in a manufacturing plant or warehouse 1 year of experience operating stand up reach truck No immigration sponsorship offered for this role Physical Demands: Must be able to lift and carry 50lbs Preferred Qualifications: Previous SAP experience Previous experience with material handling on a manufacturing production floor Good communication and time management skills Ability to work independently or in a team What’s in it For You: Starting on Day 1: Access to our comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, matching 401K, company-paid pension, stock purchase plan, paid parental leave, select discounted childcare resources, and more! Annual or Hourly Compensation Range: The pay rate for this role is $23.40 per hour. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation, such as experience, education, training, geography, etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws. Requirements
