About The Position

This Forklift Operator role requires the ability to obtain a valid Forklift driver license. The job may involve overtime, potentially exceeding 40 hours per week, including 7 days a week and shifts up to 12 hours a day. The successful candidate will need to learn and utilize various computer skills crucial for team success. Duties may be assigned by supervisors, management, and union representatives. The position demands the ability to work independently with limited supervision and to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing. Proficiency with computer software such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and Dashpad is required. Physical demands include the ability to twist, reach, bend, lift, push, and pull a minimum of 50 pounds, and climb as needed. The work environment may expose the operator to outdoor elements or a cold room.

Requirements

Ability to obtain a valid Forklift driver license
Ability to learn and use multi computer skills
Ability to work independently and with limited supervision
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing
Ability to work with computer software such as Outlook, Word, Excel, Dashpad
Ability to twist, reach, bend, lift a minimum of 50 pounds, push 50 pounds, pull 50 pounds and climb as needed
High school graduate or hold a GED
