About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our team. The Forklift Operator will be responsible for moving, loading, and unloading materials in our warehouse or production facility using a forklift. The ideal candidate will ensure the safe and efficient operation of the forklift, maintain the organization of inventory, and comply with all safety protocols. This position is a swing shift - 12-hour shifts - 4 days on 4 days off, located in Langhorne, PA.

Requirements

  • Previous experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting is preferred.
  • Forklift certification required (or willingness to obtain certification).
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and ability to follow all safety protocols.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a forklift to transport materials and products within the warehouse or production facility.
  • Load and unload trucks and containers efficiently and safely.
  • Stack and organize materials in designated storage areas.
  • Ensure that all inventory is properly labeled and stored in accordance with company procedures.
  • Perform daily inspections of forklifts and report any issues to the supervisor.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Adhere to all safety standards and regulations, including wearing required safety gear.
  • Assist with the loading and unloading of products manually when required.
  • Monitor stock levels and report any shortages or discrepancies to management.
  • Follow company policies for operating forklifts and handling materials.
  • Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of materials.
