About The Position
The Forklift Operator is responsible for loading and unloading trailers, loading shipping containers, and safely transporting and staging material in its designated location. Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, employees, and customers.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize.
- Ability to interact with a very diverse population in a human-services setting.
- High level of initiative and self-motivation.
- Perseverance and commitment to getting the job done.
- A typical full-time schedule is 35-40 hours per week and requires:
- Open schedule availability including a combination of days, nights, and weekends, totaling at least 35 hours per week; and
- Willingness and ability to be cross-trained, and to train in new employees.
- Forklift operating experience required.
