About The Position

National Star Services is a well-established facility management company with 27 years of experience, providing a wide range of services nationwide. We are currently seeking a Temp-to-Hire Forklift Operator to join our team at our locationin Alsip, IL 60803 .

Requirements

• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• Two valid forms of ID
• Must be authorized to work lawfully in the U.S.
• Minimum 2 years of forklift operator experience
• Previous Shipping and receiving experience
• Computer savvy with the ability to learn new systems
• Reliable transportation to ensure punctuality
• Background check and drug test will be conducted
• Availability to start working as soon as possible

Responsibilities

• Load and unload palletized materials, including work in limited or confined spaces
• Support shipping and receiving operations to ensure timely and accurate order flow
• Process orders using the company’s computer system (training provided)
• Create, verify, and apply labels accurately to outgoing and incoming materials
• Safely operate forklift equipment in accordance with all company policies and safety procedures
• Collaborate with warehouse staff and supervisors to meet daily productivity goals
