About The Position

Forklift Operator - 3rd Shift (Overnight) Shift: 9:45 PM-various end times Hourly Rate: $18.70 an hour + $0.30 shift differential Starting Pay: $18.70 Top Out Pay: $22.75 Sunday - Thursday 9:45pm - 6:00am + Mandatory overtime You will: Demonstrated behaviors to support company safety procedures with focus on zero injuries. Follow and comply with all Safe Quality Food (SQF) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's). Pick up and remove waste from production line floors and containers. Push waste carts to dumpster area. Operate a sit-down, double-reach, and pallet jack forklift to move product to and from inventory warehouse storage and to and from the production lines. Hitch trucks to warehouse docks. Stage pallets and product for the safety of warehouse operations. Consolidate bays in inventory. Operate inventory control devices (radio frequency) to view, track, and adjust product inventory. Operate inventory control devices to perform cycle counts and corrections. Maintain cleanliness in all work areas and equipment. Pick full and partial pallets to load and unload trucks and move inventory into/out of warehouse. Transport supplies to production. Record the truck set temperatures for every trailer. Manually document the SKU and number for any loose cases. Monitor the conveyor system. Verify code date and case count off an inbound truck. Verify code date and case count off loose cases. Communicate with the Coordinator or the Team Lead if there is no product available in a pick location or if the product is totally out. Perform other tasks that the Team Leader or Coordinator might require. Work required overtime to achieve production and shipping schedules. The ability to interact effectively with coworkers.
