About The Position

We are seeking a dependable, skilled, and detail-oriented Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate with strong experience handling large, heavy machinery. This role is critical to the safe movement, storage, and shipment of high-value equipment. This position is ideal for someone who understands proper load handling, prioritizes safety, and takes pride in accurate, damage-free shipments. If you are someone who operates equipment confidently, works efficiently, and values getting the job done right the first time, this could be a great fit. Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Requirements

  • 5+ years of warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience preferred
  • Strong forklift experience required, especially moving large or heavy equipment
  • Forklift certification preferred (or ability to obtain)
  • Experience unloading freight containers highly desirable
  • Solid understanding of load balancing and safe material handling practices
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on warehouse environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to meet daily shipping deadlines
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday
  • Comfortable operating equipment and handling large machinery for extended periods

Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts to safely move large, heavy, and high-value machinery
  • Load and unload trucks, containers, and LTL freight with precision
  • Maneuver oversized equipment in tight warehouse spaces
  • Ensure proper load balancing, securing, and safe transport of machinery
  • Conduct routine forklift inspections and follow all safety protocols
  • Assist with building protective crates for machinery when needed
  • Package machinery to ensure safe transport via LTL freight
  • Maintain accurate processing of packing lists and shipping documentation
  • Ensure all shipments are packed to prevent damage during transit
  • Receive and organize airfreight and container shipments
  • Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality
  • Support weekly and monthly inventory verification
  • Participate in monthly machine inventory counts
  • Maintain organized and accurate inventory storage systems
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work environment
  • Assist with space utilization and material organization
