Requirements

  • Previous forklift operation experience
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and overtime
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Manufacturing experience
  • Experience using scanner equipment
  • Applicants must be able to: Sit for 8+ hours per shift
  • Balance, bend, crouch, kneel, stand, walk, stoop, and reach above shoulders for 6+ hours
  • Work in dusty, high‑heat, humid environments for 3+ hours
  • Perform grasping, pushing, pulling, fine manipulation, and tactile tasks for 8+ hours
  • Operate foot pedals for 8+ hours
  • Lift up to 50 lbs for 6+ hours
  • Distinguish sounds, communicate clearly, and visually identify objects/equipment

Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts and related equipment to load/unload trucks and move materials.
  • Transport products, pallets, and supplies using forklifts and pallet jacks.
  • Pull product from Alvey and Tote stations and place in designated warehouse areas.
  • Use scanners to record inventory and follow all SOPs for storing and loading.
  • Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance.
  • Update labels using the Markem printer and input required data.
  • Supply WIP product and inspect totes; label defective product as needed.
  • Review production schedules and ensure supplies are ready for the next shift.
  • Safely scrap cardboard and operate the compactor per procedures.
  • Hand‑palletize product as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
