About The Position

The Forklift Operator will with the Warehouse Supervisor in receiving product, selecting full pallets for shipping, replenishing picking slots or loading trucks. This position may work alternating shifts as required because of their ability to operate a forklift in a safe manner while moving with a sense of urgency. The Forklift Operator must be trained and certified to be able to operate their equipment throughout the Distribution Center moving around others who are working.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Forklift Certification required; must be re-certified every 3 years
• Minimum 1 year experience in a Distribution Center with proper training on safety and the ability to work around moving machinery
• Ability to work in a cold environment for several hours
• Attention to accuracy and detail while moving with a purpose and sense of urgency

Responsibilities

• Perform order selection for loading outbound trucks of your assigned product lines
• Operate Forklift while maintaining compliance to safety regulations
• Restock product to the appropriate warehouse location
• Pull product from appropriate warehouse locations
• Load and unload trucks when required
