Forklift Operator

The ideal candidate in this role will perform a wide range of duties in an industrial manufacturing environment. This individual will be part of a yard crew responsible for safely and efficiently moving, organizing and assisting in the production of precast concrete products of the highest quality standards.
Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years experience operating heavy equipment preferred
- Experience operating forklifts with > 18k lb. capacity
- Knowledge of basic math and measurements
- Ability to read/write simple instructions and communicate effectively with team members
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. periodically throughout the day
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience utilizing loaders is preferred
Responsibilities
- Operate industrial forklift and loader to transport inventory, unload incoming stock and load orders
- Pull and stage orders for shipment
- Load customer trucks based on ship tickets
- Push aggregate material utilizing a loader
- Complete weekly equipment inspections
- Keep area safe, clean and organized
- Interface with customer service, technical service, and delivery personnel
- Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed
