The Forklift Driver / Material Handler tasks required, but not limited to, are general housekeeping, clean up, sweeping, vacuuming, painting, lubrication (oiling, greasing, etc.), sample retrieval, power washing, lifting and hauling items up and down stairs, dump rework, and operate a motorized fork lift and a variety of other miscellaneous duties as assigned. This is a great position for forklift drivers, forklift operators, forklift material handlers, warehouse forklift operators, and manufacturing warehouse operators and material handlers.

Requirements

Must be trained and certified on the forklift
Trained and able to demonstrate hazardous chemical handling
Proficient in the operation of the stretch wrappers
Must be proficient with a forklift on all operations lines
Must demonstrate the ability to complete and make changes to pick sheets
Communicate with visitors and customers in a professional manner
Must have basic operational knowledge of roll up doors
Must be able to understand the inventory procedure
Trained and able to demonstrate pallet transfer operations
Must demonstrate the ability to reconcile finished product
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Related Experience: Previous relevant experience - preferably in a manufacturing environment
Equipment/Software Skills: Basic computer knowledge
This position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb stairs, bend, kneel, stand for extended periods, work in confined spaces, and work at heights

Responsibilities

General housekeeping, clean up, sweeping, vacuuming, painting, lubrication (oiling, greasing, etc.)
Sample retrieval, power washing, lifting and hauling items up and down stairs, dump rework
Operate a motorized fork lift and a variety of other miscellaneous duties as assigned
Load trucks in the prescribed manner
Complete and make changes to pick sheets
Communicate with visitors and customers in a professional manner
Basic operational knowledge of roll up doors
Understand the inventory procedure
Pallet transfer operations
Reconcile finished product
