As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for moving pallets and other materials throughout the warehouse, supporting production requirements, and loading/unloading customer trailers. This role may also involve hand-sorting wooden pallets and repairing damaged ones using a nail gun. This position is crucial to the success of the Relogistics site. The work environment may expose employees to extreme conditions including elements, heat, cold, and air particulate. The job requires repetitive body adjustments such as bending, stooping, walking, turning, pivoting, and sitting in a forklift for extended periods. Noise levels vary by location, and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including eye protection, ear protection (mandatory in some areas), and safety shoes are required. Specific vision abilities like close, distance, and color vision are necessary. Employees may also need to manually lift pallets weighing between 50 lbs. to 75 lbs.
