About The Position

As a Forklift Operator in Training, you'll play a vital role in locating, retrieving, and stocking merchandise using the various types of trucks at the facility.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
A few years of warehouse/factory experience preferred
Able to work at heights up to 24 feet
Able to quickly read, learn, and understand standard operating and safety procedures
Able to frequently lift and carry 30 to 50 pounds independently, and up to 70 pounds occasionally with team assistance
Team player with a good attitude and attention to detail
Strong communication skills to include oral, written, and interpersonal
Able to multitask and prioritize efficiently
Ability to exhibit a best-in-class team culture and attitude.

Responsibilities

Reach Truck Operator:
Locate pallets of merchandise in push-back racks and deliver pallets to the shipping department
Retrieve pallets of merchandise from the shipping department and stock merchandise in push-back racks
Use hand-held scanner to accurately locate and stock merchandise
Order Picker Operator:
Locate cases of merchandise in high-bay racks and quick-pick racks and manually place products on conveyor
Manually retrieve cases of merchandise from reserve storage department and stock cases in high-bay racks and quick-pick racks
