This is a key entry level position within our manufacturing facility which produces quality food products for our customers. Responsible for receiving, unloading, and storing raw materials in their proper location. Additional $1.50 per hour shift differential for hours worked between 6PM-6AM. Must be flexible for overtime and weekend work. Duties and Responsibilities: Unload, load, inspect, and relocate raw materials upon receipt in Shipping and Receiving. Pulling raw materials and delivering them to production personnel as appropriate. Relocating finished goods to warehouse racks. Picking, staging, and inspecting outbound loads and loading trailers. Duties may also include performing raw material returns. Inspecting incoming trailers to ensure trailer integrity and temperature meets requirements. Cleaning and sanitizing the work area. Documenting all transactions to ensure inventory accuracy. Frequent work in the freezer for up to several hours at a time. Receive bulk ingredient, packaging, and raw material items. Assist in conducting cycle counts on raw materials and finished goods. Document relevant shipping and receiving information. Store and retrieve raw materials and finished good. Maintain cleanliness of work area. Perform other duties by assisting in Shipping and Receiving department. Report unsafe conditions and work-related accidents to Team Leader, Manufacturing Manager or Safety Manager immediately. Evaluating hazards, verification of measures and procedures that should be taken to achieve a safe work environment. Ensuring daily adherence to the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) and Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) Regulations All other duties assigned.
