Dogwood Industries is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Forklift Operator for our Factory in Sedro-Woolley. Dogwood's Forklift Operator's core mission is to facilitate the safe and efficient receipt and storage of materials used in the manufacturing processes including large structural steel members and finished products ranging from 1,000 lbs to 30,000 lbs.
Requirements
- 2+ years’ experience as a forklift operator, ideally in an industrial setting moving heavy materials
- Ability to read and write English
- Knowledge of various material handling equipment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
Responsibilities
- Unload materials from incoming trucks
- Move and unload materials throughout the factory
- General shipping and receiving duties, storage, and yard cleanliness
- Other duties as assigned
