The forklift operator is responsible for the safe movement, loading, unloading, staging, and organization of raw materials and finished goods in a chemical warehouse. The individual ensures safety, proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and compliance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 1 year of verifiable employment as a forklift operator in a warehouse
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Basic Computer Skills

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks and containers
• Move drums, totes, pallets, hazardous products.
• Maintain ERP/WMS inventory accuracy.
• Conduct forklift inspections and complete checklists.
• Report spills, damage, or deviations.
