Stratas Foods LLC is the leading supplier of fats and oils to the Foodservice, Food Ingredients and Retail Private Label markets in North America and is a producer of quality bulk and packaged dressings, mayonnaise and sauces. Stratas Foods was formed in October 2008 as a 50/50 joint venture between ACH Food Companies (ACH) and Archer Daniels Midland (ADM). Manufacturing facilities are located in Dallas and Houston, TX; Decatur and Quincy, IL; Englewood, NJ; Fresno, CA; Nashville, TN; and Valdosta, GA. Corporate offices are located in Memphis, TN. Schedule: Monday- Friday (2:00pm-10:30pm) with some weekend work and OT Forklift Operator in Warehouse area. The Forklift Driver / Material Handler tasks required, but not limited to, are general housekeeping, clean up, sweeping, vacuuming, painting, lubrication (oiling, greasing, etc.), sample retrieval, power washing, lifting and hauling items up and down stairs, dump rework, and operate a motorized fork lift and a variety of other miscellaneous duties as assigned. Must be trained and certified on the forklift. Trained and able to demonstrate hazardous chemical handling Proficient in the operation of the stretch wrappers. Must be proficient with a forklift on all operations lines. Load trucks in the prescribed manner. Must demonstrate the ability to complete and make changes to pick sheets. Communicate with visitors and customers in a professional manner. Must have basic operational knowledge of roll up doors. Must be able to understand the inventory procedure. Trained and able to demonstrate pallet transfer operations. Must demonstrate the ability to reconcile finished product Forklift Driver / Material Handler Physical: Ability to lift 50 pounds, climb stairs, lift, bend, kneel, stand for long periods of time, work in confined spaces, and work with heights required. Schedule: Monday- Friday (2:00pm-10:30pm) with some weekend work and OT. This is a great position for forklift drivers, forklift operators, forklift material handlers, warehouse forklift operators, and manufacturing warehouse operators and material handlers.

Requirements

Must be trained and certified on the forklift.
Trained and able to demonstrate hazardous chemical handling
Proficient in the operation of the stretch wrappers.
Must be proficient with a forklift on all operations lines.
Must demonstrate the ability to complete and make changes to pick sheets.
Must have basic operational knowledge of roll up doors.
Must be able to understand the inventory procedure.
Must demonstrate the ability to reconcile finished product
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Related Experience: Previous relevant experience - preferably in a manufacturing environment
Equipment/Software Skills: Basic computer knowledge
Ability to lift 50 pounds, climb stairs, lift, bend, kneel, stand for long periods of time, work in confined spaces, and work with heights required.
