Requirements

• Valid forklift operator certification or willingness to obtain one
• Previous experience operating a lift truck, preferably with mechanical knowledge
• Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes
• Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately
• Proficient in operating various types of forklifts, such as pallet jacks and hi-lo machines
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to move, stack, and retrieve materials
• Load and unload trucks and containers
• Safely transport products within the warehouse or production area
• Perform routine maintenance on forklifts and other equipment
• Follow all safety guidelines and OSHA regulations
• Assist with shipping and receiving duties as needed
• Use basic math skills to verify quantities and perform inventory counts
• Perform order picking using a forklift or pallet jack
