Forklift Operator
About The Position
This Forklift Operator position is a full-time role, Monday through Friday, from 7 AM to 3 PM, with a pay rate of $18.50 per hour. The main duties include loading and unloading pallets, moving materials within the warehouse, ensuring quality standards, meeting production deadlines, reporting issues to a supervisor, and operating and maintaining machinery. Requirements
- Certified forklift driver
- Ability to pay close attention to details
- Familiar with all safety procedures and guidelines
- Ability to identify problems or malfunctions with machinery and equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous experience in factory or warehouse is preferred
Responsibilities
- Load and unload pallets onto and off of trucks/trailers
- Move pallets and materials throughout the warehouse
- Ensure quality standards and processes are used throughout the facility
- Ensure production deadlines and goals are met
- Report issues or problems with production to immediate supervisor
- Operate and maintain machinery
