About The Position

The MHE Operator is responsible for the safe and accurate loading and unloading of products within the distribution center. This role involves operating material handling equipment, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring inventory accuracy while adhering to company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be able to operate material handling equipment safely.
• Ability to follow safety requirements and report unsafe conditions.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
• Knowledge of inventory management systems.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments utilizing the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Research discrepancies between inventory counts and shipping/receiving documents for inventory reconciliation.
• Load and off-load pallets safely to prevent damage.
• Complete assigned duties in a timely manner according to department standards.
• Locate and retrieve products and replenish picking locations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Follow Good Documentation Practices (GDP) as outlined in SOP.
• Adhere to safety instructions to maintain safe working conditions.
• Train new hires on various warehouse functions as required.
• Report any damage or maintenance issues with material handling equipment immediately.
• Assist in maintaining warehouse security and report any suspicious activity.
• Understand and contribute to organizational quality goals.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the facility.
