About The Position
Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Forklift Operator to join our team. The Forklift Operator will be responsible for safely and efficiently loading and unloading various types of freight, ensuring accurate and timely inventory control. This role reports directly to the Warehouse Supervisor. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety and efficiency, and will be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy in their work. The Forklift Operator will play a crucial role in the overall operations of the warehouse, contributing to the smooth flow of goods and materials. Key Responsibilities: The Forklift Operator will be tasked with safely loading and unloading all types of freight, ensuring that all items are handled with care to prevent damage. They will also be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, which includes tracking incoming and outgoing shipments and ensuring that all items are accounted for. Operating forklifts and other machinery as needed is a critical part of this role, and the operator must be familiar with the safe operation of such equipment. Additionally, maintaining a clean and organized work environment is essential, as is following all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe workplace. The Forklift Operator may also assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to support the team as needed.
