About The Position

We are looking for candidates with previous experience in operating a Forklift in a Steel Service Center or fabrication environment. Experienced candidates should have the technical knowledge and ability to load/unload or otherwise move inventory using heavy capacity fork truck equipment according to work orders and by directive of supervisor. Opening is for 2nd shift (3PM-11PM).

Requirements

• Previous experience in operating a Forklift in a Steel Service Center or fabrication environment.
• Technical knowledge and ability to load/unload or otherwise move inventory using heavy capacity fork truck equipment.

Responsibilities

• Load/unload or otherwise move inventory through the use of motorized forklift equipment according to work orders and by directive of supervisor.
• Log and report inventory locations and changes according to specified procedure.
• Assemble customer orders according to work orders.
• Log and tag inventory received according to specified procedure.
• Record pertinent material information on work orders or other forms as specified by management.
• Performance of other Warehouse or Processing/Maintenance Department task, including the operation of an overhead crane as required.
