Forklift Operator - Whse
About The Position
Ready to be part of something special? Join our Family! Major Responsibilities : Lift, stack and un-stack products and materials. Move raw materials and finished goods to processing or dispatch areas of facility. Make sure goods are stored in the correct area of the plant and/or warehouse so they may be located easily. Load and unload transport vehicles, making sure loads are evenly and securely placed, per bill of lading. Complete daily Forklift Pre-Op Inspection Sheet. Pull product and stage orders. Follow all guidelines as set forth in the forklift driver’s manual and policy. Data entry of shipping and receiving documents and making modifications of shipping documents for finished goods. Complete documentation as needed. Participation in all physical inventories. Follow all safety rules and policies and GMP rules.
Requirements
- Maintain excellent attendance record
- Forklift experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and other general computer skills
- Possess Effective Communication Skills
- Reading/Comprehension Abilities
- Ability to Work Independently
- Ability to Identify Problems and Respond Accordingly
- Warehouse/plant environment
- Walking/standing 50%, Sitting 50%
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. – if an accommodation is necessary please notify Human Resources in advance of interview.
