About The Position

The Swing Reach Operator at Long Motor Corporation is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of warehouse orders while adhering to productivity and safety standards. This full-time position involves operating various types of forklifts and managing inventory effectively.

Requirements

• Must pass drug screen
• Experience with driving different types of forklifts
• Ability to use electronic devices (i.e. PDA)
• Physical strength and dexterity to lift and carry 50-75 lbs. or more
• Ability to stand and/or walk 95% of the shift
• Able to work in a controlled environment (cold in winter, hot/humid in summer)
• Accuracy & detail oriented
• Strong organizational skills
• Time-management skills
• Ability to work flexible hours and overtime when required

Responsibilities

• Complete daily inspection of equipment
• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using various types of forklifts
• Pull and prepare product for shipment ensuring the exact number and types of products is loaded
• Keep appropriate records and reports for inventory accuracy
• Comply with all OSHA and MSDS standards
• Verify load accuracy; check the load count, stability, and product damage, report variances as necessary
• Change equipment battery or LP tank and monitor power source as necessary
• Perform other duties assigned by Supervisor
