As a Forklift Operator - Shipping, you’ll be part of our team located in Northlake, TX. You’ll get to: Operate a variety of equipment, including dock stockers, reach trucks, turret trucks, and forklifts to efficiently load and transport products within the warehouse. Complete orders in a timely manner by processing pick tickets, performing full pallet picking, and shuttling pallets for final order processing. Interact with management software systems and label printers; read work orders or receive instructions to determine assignments and material needs. Perform physical activities requiring lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and safe material handling. Maintain inventory accuracy by scanning parts to and from proper locations; keep the work area clean, debris-free, and safe. Support cross-training in other distribution center functions, perform daily forklift inspections, and carry out other assigned duties.

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • 1-2 years of forklift operation experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
  • Ability to obtain forklift operator certification
  • Broad knowledge of distribution center methods and procedures.
  • Ability to understand daily goals and maximize warehouse capacity
  • Familiarity with product catalog numbers and handling characteristics.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to forklift operations
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a scanner-directed job and achieve productive and quality standards.
  • Physical ability to regularly stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, use hands, lift/move up to 50 lbs., and operate a stand-up forklift for an entire shift
